Analytics Dashboard
Navigate and understand your Vavolta analytics dashboard.
Overview
The Analytics Dashboard is your central hub for understanding how your lead magnets perform. This guide explains each section and how to use it effectively.
Accessing the Dashboard
Click Analytics in the sidebar to open the dashboard.
Dashboard Sections
Summary Cards
At the top, you'll see key metrics:

| Total Views | All views in selected period |
| Unique Viewers | Distinct people who viewed |
| Avg. Session Time | Average engagement duration |
| Form Submissions | Generic Link form fills |
Date Range Selector
Filter all data by time period:
- Today
- Last 7 days
- Last 30 days
- Last 90 days
- Custom range
Activity Stream
Real-time feed of events (covered in Activity Stream).
Access by User
Table showing individual viewer engagement:

Sorting
Click column headers to sort:
- By views (most engaged)
- By time (longest sessions)
- By date (most recent)
Searching
Use the search box to find specific viewers by email.
Lead Magnet Analytics
Per-Lead Magnet View
Click any lead magnet to see its specific analytics:
- Total views
- Unique viewers
- Access link breakdown
- Page-level data (Pro+)
Top Performers
On the dashboard, see which lead magnets perform best:
- Most viewed
- Longest engagement
- Most submissions
Understanding the Data
Views
A "view" is counted when:
- Someone clicks an access link
- The content starts loading
- Refresh counts as a new view
Sessions
A session is a continuous viewing period:
- Starts when content opens
- Ends after 30 minutes of inactivity
- Multiple page views = one session
Time Tracking
How time is calculated:
- Time on page = time between page navigations
- Session time = sum of all page times
- Idle time not counted after 30 minutes
Filtering and Segments
By Lead Magnet
Select a specific lead magnet to see only its data.
By Link Type
- All links
- Access Links only
- Generic Links only
By Date
Any date range you select applies to all dashboard sections.
Exporting Data
Team Plan Feature
Export analytics data as CSV:
- Set your filters (date range, lead magnet)
- Click Export
- Choose what to export:
- All activity
- Views summary
- User engagement
Export Contents
CSV includes:
- Timestamp
- Lead magnet
- Event type
- Page number (if applicable)
- Duration (if applicable)
Comparing Periods
Compare performance across time:
- Set a date range
- Note your metrics
- Change to a different period
- Compare

Analytics Tips
Identify Hot Leads
Look for:
- Multiple views in short period
- Long session times
- Returns to view again
- Specific page attention
Find Content Issues
Red flags:
- Very short sessions (content not engaging)
- Low page-2 rates (people leave quickly)
- Lots of views, few returns
Optimize Distribution
Track which channels work:
- Create separate links per channel
- Compare performance
- Double down on winners
Troubleshooting
No Data Showing
- Check date range (might be empty period)
- Verify lead magnets are active
- Confirm links have been shared
Numbers Don't Match
- Views count all opens (including refreshes)
- Unique viewers counts people, not opens
- Check if filtering is applied
Data Seems Delayed
- Most data appears within minutes
- Sessions end data can take 30+ minutes
- Refresh the page if needed
